A messy desk can work!

Recent research from the September issue of Psychological Science indicates that individuals in messy environments are more creative and willing to explore new approaches to problems. In a series of experiments, researchers discovered that there may be times when being messy is actually a good thing!

Einstein may have been right all along when he said, “If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, then what are we to think of an empty desk?” The research conclusions lead to the notion that:
