Four tips to improve your presentations
How do you do at giving presentations? For me, it is something I am constantly trying to improve. My husband has coached me to not make jokes. According to him, when I try to be funny it comes across as inappropriate or rude. Well, that’s a bummer!
Here are some quick tips from Inc.com:
- Articulate what is distinctive about your proposition.
- Display enthusiasm for the value of your information.
- If you lose the audience’s attention, use a “drumroll line”. For instance: “Now, let’s look at the key reason…”.
- If you are on a panel, research the other panelists.
