Jon Hinrichs, Ph.D.

“How am I doing? Do I have what it takes? How can I get to where I want to go? We look for answers by considering our accomplishments and how people treat us. But success is influenced by circumstance, feedback is edited and biased, and past performance is not future potential. Psychological assessment helps you step back and objectively compare yourself to thousands, so you can lean in where you shine and develop where you fall short.”

Jon applies psychological assessment and theory to help organizations better understand and develop their people. Jon consults with leaders across healthcare, construction, manufacturing, and athletics to select the right the person, coach the future leader, evolve organizational culture, and align teams.

Jon received his bachelor’s in psychology from Emory University and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Saint Louis University. After an internship at the University of Wisconsin Madison Medical School, Jon completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Baylor’s Menninger Clinic Professionals Unit where he specialized in personality assessment and behavior change with executives, physicians, politicians, athletes, and entertainers.

Jon is a licensed psychologist with publications in international peer-reviewed journals on issues of personality assessment, narcissism, addiction, and personality-treatment match. Jon is a member of the American Psychological Association, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and Society for Consulting Psychology.

Jon is happily married and a proud father to Tommy and Carter. He is a St. Louis native who clears his head with 18 holes and loves strolling through Fast Lane Classic Cars.
